Got some clarification on the Masataka Yoshida situation:
He can be placed on a 20-day rehab assignment once he is ready. Though he had major surgery on his arm, there is no exemption for position players to be extended on rehab assignments due to arm surgery. Also, he would have to consent to being optioned to the Minors, as per terms of his contract.

吉田的狀況是去3A打復健賽，最長20天
雖然他是動大手術不過手臂開刀的野手復健賽沒辦法延長
另外因為合約內容，紅襪需要吉田的同意才能將他下放小聯盟

把他DFA後應該也能下放，反正不會有人撿
DFA怎麼可能沒人撿，薪水原球隊付吶
DFA後當然是撿走的球隊付錢啊，不然球團就直接裁掉
球員就好，何必資敵其他隊
dfa後會先談交易，如果沒有談成交易，球團想下放小聯盟前
，要先放在outright給別隊撿，有人撿的話，那隊只要付底
薪
outright waiver撿人的球隊要承接合約付錢
過了waiver被釋出才簽約的，才是原球隊付錢
