Was set to pitch for Team USA, but recently tweaked hamstring.
Leaves C Kyle Higashioka (USA), 2B Gleyber Torres (Venezuela) and RH JonathanLoáisiga (Nicaragua) as only Yankees in tournament.

Nestor Cortes will not pitch in the WBC because of what he called a “low
Grade 2” strain in his right hamstring.
Said he will be down at least a couple of weeks but still believes he’ll be
ready for the start of the regular season

後續訪問說是 Grade 2 right hamstring strain (2級右大腿後側肌肉拉傷)

進度會停滯幾週但他目前仍希望能趕上開季
