The Pittsburgh Pirates have officially signed 17-year-old right-handed pitcher Robinson Smith from Australia.
Bonus deal: $400,000.
Smith is the son of Nicole Livingston, an Olympic medalist in swimming who competed in the 1992 and 1996 Games.
