I am hearing that Minute Maid is removing their name from the Houston baseball stadium.

Rumor is it will become "Daikin Park" for 2025 and beyond. Daikin is the world's largest air conditioner manufacturer, HQ in Japan.

No more "Juice Box", now we have the "Ice Box

More information on how this works with Coke's contract with the Astros. Originally it was for $100M over 30 years. I was told that Coke offered to break the lease if the team found a higher bidder.

So Coke was paying $3.33M a year. Daikin will be paying higher than that.
