這是球隊的選擇權，不管條件如何，如果球團到時候覺得以這樣的條件續第六年不划算，不執行就是了；但如果當時的環境下這個條件划算，球團就是賺到。
所以有選擇權的一方都是潛在的得利方，這裡規劃選擇權給球團的條件是地瓜因傷導致連續不能出賽超過四分之三個球季左右，因為這個情況下球團吃了虧，所以等於是某種補償措施 。
當然五年後來看可能很雞肋，也許到時候地瓜衰退到20M都不值，不過反正球團不執行也不會吃虧。
