Developing end-to-end encrypted backups was an incredible technical
challenge: an entirely new framework for key and cloud storage.

With encrypted backups they are only accessible to you, so that neither
WhatsApp nor the backup service provider can access or decrypt the messages.

之前已有端對端傳輸加密，現在又有端對端備份加密。
臉書趁最近蘋果 CSAM 掃描風暴，反將 iMessage 一軍。
