For a third straight year, the Padres have sold out their season ticket inventory and set a franchise record for season ticket memberships, the team announced Thursday morning.

The record season ticket sales come on the heels of the team raising season ticket prices a fourth straight year despite shedding some $90 million from last year’s opening day payroll projection.

The hike for 2025 was relatively small compared to previous years: 3 percent weighted average across the board after increases of 20 percent in 2022, 18 percent in 2023 and 9 percent in 2024.

Before this trend, the Padres did not raise season ticket prices from 2017 through 2021, though fans were barred from games in 2020 and capacity was limited atthe start of 2021 as the country pulled out of the COVID pandemic.
