11:00-17:50 Qualifying
所有車手依週五抽籤的發車順序參與至少一次計時(一次為連續四圈)
成績第1~12名車手晉級Top 12 Qualifying
成績第31~34名車手晉級Last Chance Qualifying (參賽權四搶三bump day) 成績第13~30名車手則確定排位
今年有34位車手參賽，淘汰機制復活!!!

12:30-13:30 Practice 7 [Last Chance Qualifying參賽者]
14:00-15:00 Top 12 Qualifying
從成績第12名車手開始依序上場做一次時間，成績第1~6名晉級Fast Six
成績第7~12名車手則確定排位
16:00-17:00 Last Chance Qualifying
4位車手均保證至少能做一次時間，
在本階段結束前，車手都可以不限次數排隊上場進行計時
最後依成績決定第31~33名排位，最後一名則無緣參與Indy500
17:10-17:40 Firestone Fast Six Qualifying
從Top 12 Qualifying成績第6名車手開始依序上場做一次時間，
決定竿位及排位2~6名
