有鄉民氣憤的替新加坡政府辯解，說新聞報導有34000人對批准的疫苗有過敏反應，所以開放私人醫療機構打没被當局批准科興，這樣的說法似乎不成立，新加坡當局怎麼知道打没被批准科興就不會過敏呢？

This avenue will be made available through the private healthcare sector. Like all other medicines supplied under the SAR, the doctor administering the vacc ine and the patient should discuss the risks and benefits of using vaccines no t registered or authorised by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), and jointly make an informed decision. Patients will also need to sign an informed consen t form to acknowledge that they have discussed with their doctor and accept al l responsibility for the risks. The Government will not subsidise vaccines adm inistered under the SAR, and persons vaccinated under the SAR will not be elig ible for the Vaccine Injury Financial Assistance Programme for COVID-19 Vaccin ation (VIFAP). As more data becomes available, MOH will be able to determine i f persons vaccinated under the SAR may be eligible for the same exemptions on testing, or public health restrictions, which may be accorded to individuals v accinated under our national programme.
