不管官網還是Newsweek的報導，我看到的部分所提及的是將1812序曲移除表演名單

On Wednesday, Wales' Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra announced it would be
removing Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" from a March 18 concert.

而 Newsweek 那篇報導裡面有說明更多原因:

The "1812 Overture" was written to celebrate Russia's defense against the
invasion of Napoleon, and is notable for featuring a barrage of cannon fire
in its composition.

1812 序曲原本是為了慶祝俄羅斯成功抵抗拿破崙入侵所創作的。
其中一個著名特色是會配合砲聲

The director for the orchestra, Martin May, told Newsweek, "The decision on
this concert was very much based on here and now. A member of the orchestra
has family directly involved in the Ukraine situation and we are trying to
respect that situation during the immediate term. There were also two
military themed pieces as part of the programme (Marche Slave and 1812) that
we felt were particularly inappropriate at this time."

樂團總監 Martin May 表示

May added that another piece of Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 2," titled
"Little Russian," was deemed offensive to Ukrainians. There are currently no
plans to change any of the summer and autumn concerts featuring other Russiancomposers. "This is a one off decision made with the best of intentions," he
said.

May還說柴可夫斯基的一首標題名為 Little Russian 的二號交響曲也被認為對
烏克蘭人非常有冒犯性。目前沒有改動夏季和秋季演奏會中跟其他俄羅斯作曲家創作
有關的部分。
