這一樣會是全聯盟最高薪的數字(原本最高是Bob Melvin的400萬)
Everyone expected the Mets to throw $7 million per season (or more) at Counsell.
當時其他人預估梅子可能會開700萬給Counsell
No one expected the Cubs to do so.
