Teheran opted for an NRI deal with the Tigers over a guaranteed deal
elsewhere because he got a base of $3M plus $1M in games started incentives.
If he starts 20 games he makes $4M. The guaranteed deal was a low base with
minimal upside. He is essentially betting on himself.
Julio Teheran 已經與老虎隊簽下小聯盟合約，附帶大聯盟春訓邀請
如果成功擠進大聯盟名單的話，將可以拿到300萬美金的年薪
另外還有額外100萬美金的先發場次激勵獎金
所以他也選擇不接受其他球團所開出底薪保障合約
Teheran 去年球季從勇士隊轉戰天使隊，不過投得相當糟糕
一共出賽十場(其中九場擔任先發)，戰績為零勝四敗 防禦率 10.05
