FWIW: Last Nov. 30, just before lockout, players’ union proposed 12-team playoff but with two significant differences from format the union and MLB eventuallyadopted: A best-of-seven Division Series, as opposed to be a best-of-five, and re-seeding after wild-card round.

和目前的有兩個大差異
1.分區系列戰改成七戰四勝
2.外卡輪打完，重排種子序
