在聯盟知名高中生(ex:LBJ)都退休後再也不復見，但只能說有時時代的變化是難以預期的

以往反對高中生提早進來的論點，舉出幾點如下，
1.在大學可以學會團隊如何打球
2.直接進來NBA，因為選秀的球隊不一定提供高中生有足夠的機會或者培養方法不好，有可能被rush或者冷凍，
3.高中生太年輕，一些即使生活的瑣事可能都還無法處理，進而影響到比賽。對待比賽以及職業生涯的心態是否足夠成熟，也是疑問
4.對於體重的控制以及休賽季的自律是否足夠
5.不成熟的技術可能降低NBA的精彩程度
