The Chronicle learned this week that the team is also concerned about the
vaccination status of Kuminga. Earlier this week, a league source said that
Kuminga, the seventh pick in this year’s NBA draft, was not yet been
vaccinated against COVID-19.

《紀事報》本週獲悉，球團也針對 Jonathan Kuminga 的接種狀態表達了關注。在本週稍早時，某聯盟消息人士聲稱，這位本季選秀第七順位球員尚未完成 COVID-19 疫苗接種。

However, in a text thread with The Chronicle, Kuminga indicated he was at
least on his way to becoming vaccinated. He first said he wanted to check to
see if he needed to get another shot before the start of the season, then
said a second shot would come Oct. 22.

但是，在向《紀事報》傳送的訊息中，Kuminga 表示他已經至少在完整接種的路上了。他起初回應說，他需要先確認是否需要在賽季開始前接種第二劑疫苗，接著再表示可能需要在10月22日接種第二劑。

Finally, the rookie forward said: “I’m vaccinated, man.”

Many of the Warriors opted for the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, so it'spossible Kuminga didn't understand or communicate that another shot wasn't
necessary. That might also be why the Warriors were worried about his playingstatus earlier this week.

多數勇士隊球員選擇接種一劑嬌生疫苗，因此Kuminga 本身有可能不知道不需要再接種一劑的事實，而這也是球團在本週稍早的時候表達擔憂的一大因素。

備註：Kuminga 跟圍巾一樣，先前都是被外界廣傳未曾接種疫苗的球員。
