The metaverse may be about to gain a Brooklyn address.
記者Randall Williams報導，籃網已向美國專利和商標局提交了申請，有意成為首支入駐元宇宙的主流職業聯賽球隊。
The Brooklyn Nets have filed three separate applications with the United StatesPatent and Trademark Office for the trademark “Netaverse,” according to trademark attorney Josh Gerben of Gerben Intellectual PrL
據一家名為Gerben的知識產權律所商標代理人Josh Gerben透露，籃網近就「Netaverse」商標提交了三份獨立申請。

布魯克林籃網隊成為首支進入「元宇宙」世界的職業球隊！2022年被稱為元宇宙元年，今天預估會有更多元宇宙相關的應用會跟著誕生，而此次籃網隊則是希望透過元宇宙提供球迷更全面的比賽觀看體驗，讓大家有身歷其境的線上看球機會，籃網隊展開的這個「Netaverse」計畫，現在已經在球場的周圍架設100多台高解析度攝影機，再藉由Canon相機的全新系統，讓球場與球員整體呈現3D VR細節，讓球迷可以以360度環視球場，並且看到比賽中每個角度，這個服務推出之後對於現在不能飛到美國看球賽的球迷來說，應該會是一大福音。
