Robbie Ray today underwent the procedure to address his flexor tendon repair.He also had his ulnar collateral ligament reconstructed, as in Tommy John
surgery, according to a press release.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Keith Meister at TMI Sports Medicine in
Texas.

Ray will travel to Arizona to begin his rehab in 2-3 weeks following his
initial recovery from today’s surgery. Given that TJ is also part of the
equation, it’s unlikely he’ll be ready by Spring Training.
