: 面對Omicron對全球疫情的強烈衝擊，美國疾控中心（CDC）當地時間14日更新口罩指南，: 值得注意的是，相較於2021年9月的指南版本，美國CDC這波更新明確提醒民眾，「可選擇: N95或KN95口罩，不必擔心N95口罩供應不足」。
: 實際上在《華盛頓郵報》11日曝出美疾控中心將修改口罩指南的消息後，亞馬遜等網站: N95與KN95口罩價格也應聲飆升。透過價格追蹤網站Camelcamelcamel資料顯示，一盒40片: 裝的某品牌KN95口罩，目前第三方廠商價格為79.99美元，較去年11月底僅16.99美元明顯: 大漲。

裡面提到KN95的是這段：
N95 masks, which are approved by NIOSH, are designed to filter up to 95
percent of particles, as their name implies. KN95s are supposed to meet a
comparable Chinese standard, but there is no Chinese regulatory agency ensuringthat, according to Anne Miller, executive director of Project N95, a nonprofitorganization that distributes free N95s and children’s masks in the United
States. However, some U.S. firms make high-quality KN95s, she said.

不要選擇N95的原因是因為:

prioritized for healthcare personnel

CDC 新的Update: 是2022/1/14修訂沒錯，摘要根據CDC如下
- Added information to present similar content for masks and respirators
- Clarified that people can choose respirators such as N95s and KN95s,
including removing concerns related to supply shortages for N95s
- Clarified that "surgical N95s" are a specific type of respirator that
should be reserved for healthcare settings
- Clarified that some types of masks and respirators provide more protection to the wearer than others

這樣的原因在1/14的華盛頓郵報也有寫明：
As of Dec. 29, the United States had 747 million N95 masks in the national
stockpile, 59 times pre-pandemic levels, according to prepared testimony fromDawn O’Connell, assistant secretary for preparedness and response, at a
Tuesday Senate committee hearing.

更何況2022/1/14的CDC指引對於口罩選擇部分這樣寫道
well-fitting disposable surgical masks and KN95s offer even more protection,
and well-fitting NIOSH-approved respirators (including N95s) offer the highestlevel of protection.

KN95 被放在 外科口罩這欄位

甚至還特別指出口罩選擇注意事項:

Poor quality KN95 respirators

- About 60% of KN95 respirators NIOSH evaluated during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 did not meet the requirements that they intended to meet.
- Using a poor-quality product may not provide the level of protection
indicated.

簡單的說，老美只是因為N95爆倉(約7.47億個)，加上omicron傳染力驚人
所以建議一般民眾戴得住也可以用。
然後報導提到關於KN95標準的疑慮，並且說到老美製造的KN95品質也有不錯的

請問這幾篇那裡提到中國時報講的這些東西?

對了 CDC 有簡中版本，如果看不懂英文，會讀中國時報的應該看簡中都沒有問題吧?
